We don’t believe there is a disconnect between capitalism and sustainability. If capitalism is driven by profits, then how do the companies earn these profits? It is through individuals investing in them, whether we are buying their products or their stock. If we want companies to lower their carbon footprint and be more sustainable, then we have to think about who we really want to invest in. Capital Planet Investing aims to be a movement for a more sustainable path to financial freedom. We believe investing is the key to financial freedom and we also believe it should be done responsibly. After all, what is the point of investing for a retirement, if there is no world to retire in?
